We are back from paradise too soon but are reliving our time there through this post. Enjoy…
We love staying at the Conch Shell (the pink house, as our kids call it) everytime we visit Anna Maria.
The backyard is super gorgeous and has a fun pool and tiki bar.
Typically the first thing we do (after unloading our suitcases) is rent a few bicycles from “Beach Bums”.
We take bicycle rides to the beach, to dinner, to shop, pretty much for everything! That’s the beauty of small island life.
The water is so calm and we had no fear of waves, undertow or unknown creatures in dark water… It’s clear as can be!
Kreed pushed his truck up and down the beach constantly, stopping for an occasional ride in the back. That was probably the cutest sight EVER!
We ride our bikes around the corner to our favorite little shop called the “Shiny Fish Emporium” . Everything about the shop is just magical… I could live there, it’s so gorgeous.
Our favorite thing to do at the Shiny Fish is paint sandollars! They complete them with sparkle paint & hand dyed silk ribbons. Talk about the most gorgeous keepsakes!
Do you see Karys eyeing that sweet peachy ball? Those are called ice cream bubbles & they are sooooooo yummy! Can’t leave the Shiny fish without an icecream bubble or 2 or 4.
Cute antique spots
One afternoon we went to Poppo’s… It’s all locally grown ingredients and they make the tortillas right in front of you! Think Chipotle, times 100🙌 They also have fountain craft sodas that were heavenly !
We rode our bikes over to the pier one evening for a sunset dinner…
Karys and Nana spotted stingrays and dolphins..
Kreed and I got a few sunset snuggles in our Sakura Bloom sling… This thing was such a life saver.
Family sand castle building !
Ice cream at “Two Scoops”
My sister in law Karissa and I enjoyed dinner on the beach at “The Beachhouse” . They serve the most delicious pineapple coconut bread before the meal. It’s heavenly!
Hope you enjoyed a peek at our adventures… I’ll be sharing our professional shoot on the beach with the sweetest island photographer SOON! Until then, here’s a sneak peek…
